My arms are tired from holding up the sky
It’s falling and I can no longer abide
Earthquakes break like dominoes
Mountains shake and crumble in humility
I can no longer outrun the earths collide
Ships recklessly pollute our seas
The ocean had once washed our shores
But things have changed dramatically
As waves explode upon her chest
Infecting sand upon the land
As reckless captains do command
Purging toxins she now bleeds
Disease cries from sea to shore
Fierce winds fuel a world on fire
Our men are turned into war machines
I cannot look another day
For when I do my heart breaks in-two
It cracks and my faith pours out
I need a miracle this very hour
Take this cup from me I pray
Heal our scars
Cleanse our souls
And Lord, one more thing before you go…
The skyis falling and you see
This burden is too heavy
Will you hold it up for me?
