LIEBSTER AWARD!!!

image

I am so honored to receive the *LIEBSTER AWARD.* Lita Doolan nominated me. Lita was able to see in me what I could not see in myself.
She must have xray vision.
Lita was able to see inside my heart and knows how bad i want to be good.
Thank you my dear lady for the nomination. I’m glowingly greatful.

The Rules:

(1) Thank the person who nominated you and link to their blog

(2) You must answer the 10 questions given to you by the nominee before you.

(3) Nominate 10 of your favorite blogs with fewer than 200 followers and notify them of their nomination.

(4) Come up with 10 questions for your nominees to answer.

The 10 Questions I was asked:

(1) What is your favourite building to look at?
(A. 1 of 10)
My favorite buildings to look at are condemned houses and old weathered barns, just couldn’t leave out the barns. That may cause jealousy..~smiles~

(2) Is there a city that has changed you in some way (if so which one)?

(A.2 of 10)
Yes,  and that would be Yokosuka, located in Japan. I had never experienced a metropolitan area where there are more people than land.
In America we have an invisible standard that insists strangers stay at arm’s length. Also when walking no automobiles are allowed share your pedestrian rights.
I was definantly shocked at first. At first I felt disrespected by someone rubbing up against me or reaching in front of me grabbing something I was considering buying. But after a while I noticed how everyone was respectful using graceful manners. I began to love the Japanese people for I realized they were more civilized than Americans. American’s culture as opposed to the Japanese culture is like day and night. Not all Americans, but a large number of them would be offended by what they perceive to be an invasion on their, “personal bubble.”
I learned how to be humble by following their customs and seeing the good in these beautifully gracious people. That has definitely changed my life and my perspective. Traveling is the best way to educate oneself. We are the world we are the love we are one energy.

(3) On a day off what museum or gallery would you visit

(A.3 of 10)
I want to visit the Yuma Prison this week its just 10 miles away. Yuma was home away from home to female stagecoach bandits, Mormon polygamist, and some of the fastest guns in the west.
My favorite gallery would be Gem World located in Quartzsite Airzona…I’m absolutely addicted to gems!

(4) If you were putting a raft together to survive the floods what would be your secret building material (it can be crazy or practical)?

(A.4 of 10)
Considering I know absolutely nothing about building a raft. ~°•○●brainstorming●○•°~I got it. I would take my artsy collection of driftwood, hemp macramé, some of my scarfs and weave the driftwood, together, not forgetting my gems that would be placed creatively on the  front of the raft for the serene chakra affect.

(5) If food had no calories what would you fill your table and with?

(A. 5 of 10)
White chocolate, Nutella, more chocolate, & Nutella

(6) What is your favorite method of transport?

(A.6 of 10)
Bicycle, I love biking!

(7) Do you remember the first time you smiled and around what age were you?

(A.7 of 10)
The first time I remember smiling from my heart was on my 4th birthday. My mother baked me a big chocolate cake, with candles glistening she sang the traditional happy birthday song, but it was different. Her melody was angelic. She then gave me the most beautiful red velveteen dress with an embroidered poodle on the front. To this day I believe that was the happiest smile in my life, for my heart smiled too.

(8) What (who or where) inspires your writing?

(A.8 of 10)
What inspires me is positive energy. I love to read creative blogs that are uplifting. I love to believe in myself and others. And last and most importantly; I love my children to be truely happy and safe. That’s what imspires me.

(9) What is your favourite body of water (ocean, pool, spa…)?

(A.9 of 10)
My favorite body of water is the ocean. I can pick up a seashell and hear the ocean breeze, my memories of sand sparkling through my toes, brings me to my knees, the sound of a foghorn mystifies with tease. The crashing sound of the waves, provokes my taste buds of salty seas.
The ocean is and will always be
A  curious fascination of mystery to me.

(10) What advice would you give to your younger self (fun, fictional or factual)?

(A.10 of 10)
What advice would I give myself at my younger self.
(a.) Be true to thine ownself
(b.) Live by the golden rule
(c.) Follow your heart and hold on tight to your dreams.

I hope you enjoy these questions! Hearty thanks for the brilliant contributions you make.
