Profiling isn’t a good idea
Do you know why
It could change the way humans identify
I am not St. George’s horse
As referenced in the book
“Folklore of the Dragonfly.”
I never even knew him
They would have you believe
I am a devil horse that flies
Oh my…
The romanian word for devil is “drac” but “drac” also means dragon in romanian
Because of all this mixed up stuff my name translated as Dragonfly
Confusing right? Just another way to stereotype
Now I cannot tell you how many times this made me cry
Blue Dasher a preferred name of I
But I had no say in scientific decide
My kingdom is in Animalia
I have class of Insecta
My family is Libellulidae
I could go on
but why
The simple truth is this
My mother loves me
She named me Blueray
I am known as the blue dasher
I help with insect control
Especially mosquitoes as some of you already know
Now that you know the truth maybe next time before you stereotype
You’ll think twice…

Sometimes I hide from what I know to be true for it frightens me
My journey insists I cross a bridge that I rather not cross
Like a child’s uncertainty walking by the light of the moon
So my thoughts intrude in my clouded mind persuading me to higher ground
I must cross or I will surely die
A bitter death of a spiritual kind
Intuitively I am painfully aware that I mustn’t haste
A day dream becomes my reality
demanding I move from my comfort zone
I am afraid…
What is on the other side…
Can you tell me
Or maybe I could continue
To hide…
…
…
…
No
I
Want
To
Be
Alive

My daughter Candice is so thoughtful. She is always buying, or makeing me unique gifts that are usually a treasure of nostalgia.
She gave me this necklace last year while I was in Portland Oregon. It appears to be one made in the 70’s.
She gave it to me for no apparent reason other than, she thought I would love it, and of course like everything she gives me or makes me it’s sincere and precious to me.
I miss Portland and I miss my children. I have two daughters and four grandchildren that reside there, and I’m certainly overdue for a visit.

I feel the sky tumbling down…
By Carole King
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumblin’ down
I feel my heart start to tremblin’
Whenever you’re around
Ooh, baby, when I see your face
Mellow as the month of May
Oh, darlin’, I can’t stand it
When you look at me that way
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumblin’ down
I feel my heart start to tremblin’
Whenever you’re around
Ooh darlin’, when you’re near me
And you tenderly call my name
I know that my emotions
Are something I just can’t tame
I’ve just got to have you, baby
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumblin’ down, a tumblin’ down
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumblin’ down, a tumblin’ down
I just a lose control
Down to my very soul
I get a hot and cold
All over, all over, all over, all over
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumblin’ down, a tumblin’ down
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumblin’ down, a tumblin’ down
A tumblin’ down, a tumblin’ down, a tumblin’ down
Tumblin’ down
(Carole King)
I’m just feeling a little nostalgic tonight.

Smile in spite of yourself, even if it hurts.
Today I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn’t find any new prospects to photograph.
I went to Old Navy, and on my way out the door, I looked up and saw these mannequins smiling. My first thought was, “how funny.” I then said if they can smile being stuck up there, then I’m sure I could smile and get unstuck from down here.
It worked. ~°•○☆”smiles”☆○•°~
I had to smile in spite of myself.
I snapped a few shots then left the store with a sincerity of heart, and a fresh perspective on life.

Of the clouds in our eyes
Reflections of a roadmap rid of lies
Reflections of our nation’s constant cries
Reflections of the beauty of our skies
Reflections of a mirror for us to see truth
Love

Eternally

Out door malls in Arizona
Palm decor
Brunch time with misting lines 108° today….we ate inside. We’re not seasoned Arizonaian’s yet. Outside dinning in this weather is for guys like poncho and lefty. {{{{Laughs}}}}
In Arizona misting lines are hung above out door dining, for a refreshing mist that slightly caresses you while you’re enjoying your brunch.

Reminiscent of times before my record player stopped playing my song, merry-go-rounds, carousels,
and I, the forgotten ferris wheel stopped turning and left me on high…
I found this image on line and it made me feel like I was able to touch a profound moment from the past.
This image is from..

My happiness depends on my ability, to become willing, to accept that things are exactly the way they are supposed to be.
Nothing happens by mistake.
Adversity is sent to teach us to practice patience, tolerance and love.
Life is wonderful
And so are you
Just believe
The truth, it frees…
