A gift from the heart

My daughter Candice is so thoughtful. She is always buying, or makeing me unique gifts that are usually a treasure of nostalgia.

She gave me this necklace last year while I was in Portland Oregon. It appears to be one made in the 70’s.

She gave it to me for no apparent reason other than, she thought I would love it, and of course like everything she gives me or makes me it’s sincere and precious to me.

I miss Portland and I miss my children.  I have two daughters and four grandchildren that reside there, and I’m certainly overdue for a visit.

NEW GEMS

I just purchased some more new gems to add to my arsenal of beads. It takes hours to organize in preparation to be strung by the Artist’s hands. This week I’ll be taking some time out from blogging to design some unique creations.   I’m so excited. Everytime I buy new beads I feel like a kid  in a candy shop. It’s such a wonderful feeling and it takes me away from the world and all its negative attachments.
