My heart went missing in the still of the night.
As I awoke from my slumber I felt something was not right.
Darkness crept in as, I opened my eyes, my thoughts rendering only lies.
Disguised as an angel without any wings I heard someone singing as somebody screamed.
I wasn’t quite sure of the message for I could not see.
Clouds of smoke broken vision.
I knew quite well there was something missing.
I sat alone in a room filled with broken years.
Frozen, though I longed for tears.
A rude wwakening shot pains through my chest!
I reluctantly accepted that my heart was stolen while I slept…
