R.O.Y.G.B. NEEDS T.

Published on WordPress by Donna Brown Bowles ©
R. I. Y. G. B. NEEDS T.
I’m never invited to parties by R.O.Y.G.B.
I go unmentioned in regards to the sea.
At times, I silhouette the sun.
I am the favorite color of, the one who writes this poem.
Why can’t R.O.Y.G.B. open up its box for me?
I beg the world to set me free.
Oceans glow so beautifully.
Some say it is because of me.
Turquoise is my only name.
Many photographer’s landscapes proclaim.
My only wish is, to be a color,
included by the rainbows mother.
Please help the world so that they might see.
That turquoise shines through you and me.
Then, R.O.Y.G.B. and T, happily forever we will be.
A sea of colors all as one.
Can you see how lovely that would be?
Thank you, sincerely,
~ T ~

Freedom
IF SHE COULD SEE HERSELF THROUGH HIS EYES
He loves her with all his heart
His pain won’t end until she sees
Her worth he holds so dear
His pain her sadness
Her uncertainty
Building walls
War must end
Or both hearts will die
His prayer is for her to grow
Wings of gold
To fly

BORDER PATROL
We must pass through border patrol when we go to to town.
There are sniffing dogs all around.
Why are these dogs here?
Are the trained to smell our fear?
A different race they’re looking for,
So they say.
America’s a melting pot
You think border patrol forgot?

FROZEN YEARS
Memories of truth were told
Frozen hearts brick walls of bold
Separated love instilling fear
Damned to hell the stories told
Hidden by the lifeless wall
Fraudulent schemes consistently
Shameless echoes from their halls
Raped my soul in trade for gain
Before consciousness began
Raging storms a thousand years
Rivers filled with sinners tears
Comparing worn tattered clothes
To their priceless royal robes
Forced to shrink while they grin
Stain glass divides truth from sin
Cunning artifice a guise

Eyes of my soul refuse to lie
I rid my heart of chanting demise
Promise not I, my word is exclusive
It’s all that I am
Fear of my egotistical side
I cannot break a vow, or surely I’ll die
I humbly request that light be my guide
Help me to see all my hidden lies
Insuring pure love consumes,
All that I am, Your will, not mine
I surrender my pain
To your sovereignty, love, and peace

RAVEN TOWN ANTICIPATES YOU
Ravens fly by night in a town with no pity for the ones unaware…but we are not afraid, because we’re free, freedom to create the perfct place to see, remember, ” you can look up in the sky and see the stars and still not see the light”…(Eagles)

DESTROYER OF DREAMS
He sits on the throne of predators rights.
As a ravenous hunter death be his plight.
His glory assured in egos of might.
Viciously devouring all innocence life.
As a fire in the wind no satisfaction of sin.
Ruthlessly steals his victim’s last breath.
Fire nor hell hath not any rest.
His pray are too weak to fight his demand, vicious tournament, his only command.
In turn, the piper has come to collect the debt for Snowflakes dissolved for a salivating mess.

Eden: a sex slave’s story
WAKE UP AMERICA!
Wearing just their underwear, the girls line up with their backs to the wall, arms by their side, heads down, frozen to the spot. They dare not move.
Their captors walk up and down the line – picking them seemingly at random and tapping them on the shoulder – ‘You, you, you and you… come with me’.
In the back of a warehouse truck, they are driven for miles across the scorching Nevada desert until they reach a hotel. There, they are forced to have sex with up to 25 men one after the other.
This was life for Korean-born American Chong Kim who, at 19 years old, was sold as a domestic sex slave in 1994 to Russian gangsters and held captive for more than two years.
“The clients never came to the warehouse,” she recalled “That was just where we slept. There was nothing there but bed mats…

THEM BLUES
Feeling blue never stopped me
From chasing another night
Just sitten here wondering
Why we always fight
Them blues been calling
Me back to sin so I can
Do it all over again
I can hear them talking
All over this town
Oh lordy he’s a wearing that frown
Can’t,cha hear my heart is a crying
Them blues is all I’ve ever known
Oh Baby please can you see I’m dying
And just let your daddy come home

Californian Has Dates!
Entropy
ENTROPY HAS NO PREJUDICE
One Saturday afternoon as I was driving along I noticed this abandoned house on the side of the road.
I felt compelled to pull into the driveway.
Approaching the house I saw a beautiful untamed bush decorated with the most lovely scarlet flowers.
I stood in awe of the glaring contrast between the broken structure and the flowers.
With eyes of love I smiled at the flowers
The flowers feeling my love smiled back at me with a shyness, fot they hadn’t been observed by a human eye in over a decade.
Suddenly I felt the old house and his sadness, due to his years of neglect.
I glanced up at my large old friend,
And loved him for the first time.
He was broken yet not defeated.
He humbly glanced down at me in shame of his condition. He said,
“Did you know that I used to be as lovely as the scarlet flowers”
For years she has been my only friend.
I felt as though I was frozen in a moment of time when this old house thought his eyes would never meet mine.
Saddened to see his abide
A sructural demise, foretold that entropy has no prejudice Just ageing collide.
I still loved him profoundly and he did know, even more for his stories untold, for inside of him was a heart of purest gold.

LOOKING FOR THE GOOD
We took a road trip this afternoon when we decided to pull off the highway to snap some shots of the lovely desert landscape. While gazing upon the beauty I noticed some broken pieces of glass. My first thought was. “I can’t believe that anyone would break bottles in this beautiful place.”
Then I looked a little closer. I noticed that someone had taken careful time to
build a rock circle placing the broken glass inside the ring of rocks.
All of a sudden my perspective changed persuading me to see a beautiful art exhibit instead of the eyesore of broken glass.
Another lesson on staying positive.
Look for good and you’ll find it.
Look for the bad you’ll find that also.

Gratitude
LONELY TREES…
I was wondering if you would come today
I felt sad I don’t know why
I thought I would never see you again
But you are here I can smile now
I stretched and grew a leaf or two
Did you bring your camera on this beautiful day
I have a great big smile for you
See ~°•○●”smiles”●○•°~“~☆snap☆
Am I handsome Your very best friend
So glad you came early today
Will you be visiting for a little while
Oh you caught my very best smile
°•○●~”blushing”~●○•° Snap°•☆snap°•~
I’m glad you decided to be my friend
I haven’t felt this shy since I dont know when°•○●~sheepish grin~●○•°~☆~☆~
I like it when you smile at me
I over heard you say I was lovely
°•○●☆snap~°•○☆snap●○•°☆
Oh my did I turn red
Not used to being a celebrity not me
For over a century I sat all alone
and afraid
Now I look forward to seeing your smile
Your friend I’ll be always
Not just for a while
See my beauty mark
It because you believed in me until I could believe in myself
Thanks again for being my friend
Goodbye for now I will see you tomorrow?
