It’s easy to do
The things I wanted
Forsaken for you
I would never change anything
our love was so true
It will not be our end
I will always love you
Truly…

Of the clouds in our eyes
Reflections of a roadmap rid of lies
Reflections of our nation’s constant cries
Reflections of the beauty of our skies
Reflections of a mirror for us to see truth
Love
Peace
To
set
our
spirits
free
Eternally
brilliant
light
inside
You
And

Out door malls in Arizona
Palm decor
Brunch time with misting lines 108° today….we ate inside. We’re not seasoned Arizonaian’s yet. Outside dinning in this weather is for guys like poncho and lefty. {{{{Laughs}}}}
In Arizona misting lines are hung above out door dining, for a refreshing mist that slightly caresses you while you’re enjoying your brunch.

Is when you give up.
There are moments, sometimes hours, and at times, days that I feel like I can’t, or maybe that I don’t want to continue to do the things I love, and I feel like giving up.
I know this mindset is nothing but a self-defeating attitude that is a result of looking back at my life, and wishing that I would have done things differently.
I have said it before, and I’ll say it again, for a self confirmation in order to rid myself of pride and futile thoughts.
“I give up all hope of having a better past.” There.
“Now, I must do the thing I think I cannot do.” –Eleanor Roosevelt-
The only one thing that I know to be effective at times like these, is to make a gratitude list for everything I have, and forget about everything I want.
My serenity is directly proportional to my ability to, “Accept the things I cannot change, and the courage to change the things I can.” –Bill W.-
I won’t give up, I will continue to be present in my life, and love myself, in spite of myself.
I pray that His will be done, refusing mine.
True serenity is to find peace in the midst of the storm.
I’m grateful that I am willing to see that I’m stuck, and I am able to take action in order to rid myself, of self.
I will never give up on love.
GOD help me this day.

I absolutely love tying knots. It’s therapeutic, rewarding and serene.
What more could I ask for this evening?
Life is good and it keeps getting better.
I love peace, love, WordPress, and all of you wonderful bloggers that continue to enhance my understanding of our world in which we create through.
Bob Dylan and his seemingly endless ability to capture his audience by his insightful lyrics, has and will continue to impact our understanding of poetry forever.
Each poetic note flows harmoniously through my mind and down into my heart with lasting profoundness.

Blowing In The Wind – by Bob Dylan
How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man ?
How many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand ?
Yes, how many times must the cannon balls fly
Before they’re forever banned ?
The answer my friend is blowin’ in the wind
The answer is blowin’ in the wind.
Yes, how many years can a mountain exist
Before it’s washed to the sea ?
Yes, how many years can some people exist
Before they’re allowed to be free ?
Yes, how many times can a man turn his head
Pretending he just doesn’t see ?
The answer my friend is blowin’ in the wind
The answer is blowin’ in the wind
*Bob Dylan*

My happiness depends on my ability, to become willing, to accept that things are exactly the way they are supposed to be.
Nothing happens by mistake.
Adversity is sent to teach us to practice patience, tolerance and love.
Life is wonderful
And so are you
Just believe
The truth, it frees…

I thought I would start macraming again. I have been perfecting this art since 1970.
It’s been a few months since I have indulged myself, for I have been ill; however, I’m better now and I have missed tying my hemp knotts terribly!
I absolutely love the ocean and anything that reminds me of it.
A message in a bottle…

310 to Yuma….
Ben Wade: Mind telling me where we’re going?
Dan Evans: No, I don’t mind telling you. We’re going to Contention City. We’re going to wait in a house by the station and wait until the 3:10 comes and we’re going to put you on it.
Ben Wade: Thanks. Now if we get separated I’ll know where to wait for you.

Regardless of the consequences.
Thomas Paine did and he possessed the ability to be just and true regardless of wether it was popular or not. I loved his spirit of integrity!
Nothing strengthens authority so much as silence.

Before I retire for the evening, I thought I would share something that Is important in regards to judging others.
Many years ago when I was a substitute teacher for the Matanuska Susitna school district in Palmer Alaska. I remember this particular morning that I was sent to Burchell High School.
This school was a continuation school. It was a school for troubled teens, if you will, or maybe teens with behavioral problems.
When I arrived at the school the attending counselor greeted me and asked if I had ever worked with these kinds of teens.
I told him I had, and his reply was music to my ears. He said, “I just want you to know that all of our students are not bad, to the contrary, they’re all good students, they have just made some bad choices.” He went on to explain that our job was to get them back on track. I was instructed to gently guide them and to always treat them with respect.
The staff and the students worked in unison. It was, and still is one of the finest schools I have subed for in my life.
It just goes to show that society’s opinion isn’t always accurate.
“Those who deserve love the least need it the most.”
I know there is a journey
Which lies ahead
It is clouded by doubt
And but for a moment
I am a prisoner in the eye of her storm
At times I see my radiance
I long to touch it only to find
My reach exceeds my grasp
I turn my head and cry
One thing I know for sure
If I continue to run
Love will never catch me…

I know what I feel
Deep inside that only I can hear my screams.
One day, I will reach so high.
I will catch all my dreams as, many as there are stars in the sky.
They will be mine.
I know that 0the weight of this world sits so heavily upon my chest that it is breaking my heart.
I know It is imperative that I not only sit in the rain but, taste it as well.
I know that sometimes I capture a photograph of love and it hurts.
And when I reach for it,
I discovered that it is only a negative.
And I sigh.….
Love, why must you hide your face from me?
I bleed.,.

When Christ said that man does not live by bread alone, he spoke of a hunger. This hunger was not the hunger of the body. It was not the hunger for bread. He spoke of a hunger that begins deep down in the very depths of our being. He spoke of a need as vital as breath. He spoke of our hunger for love.
Love is something you and I must have. We must have it because our spirit feeds upon it. We must have it because without it we become weak and faint. Without love our self-esteem weakens. Without it our courage fails. Without love we can no longer look out confidently at the world…
But with love, we are creative. With it, we march tirelessly. With it, and with it alone, we are able to sacrifice for others.

This evening we went for a bike ride.
I was beckoned by a lovely train that was passing.
I got off my bike and walked slowly towards the train and watched it disappear into the sunset.
I felt as though I was an innocent child again. I decided to walk on the tracks in reminiscence of my childhood when a walk on the railroad took all my troubles away.
We started walking and it felt as though I was tapping upon piano keys. I could almost hear the melody of their great history along with my nostalgic experiences as a child.
With a gentle breeze caressing my face as I danced along, it felt absolutely amazing and greatly peaceful.
My memories as a child includes my brother Joe and I. We would wait on the tracks patiently for the train to come so we could watch the colorful box cars pass and receive a wave, and a smile from the conductor on the caboose.
He left us with a feeling that not only were we alright, but the entire world was alright and a peaceful place to live.
My love of trains is a therapeutic melody to my soul, and a healing for my spirit. I must admit that I believe I fell in love with locomotives as a child and we will be in love till the day i die.
Once again love wins.

“Don’t ask.”
For some strange unknown reason I have had this magnetic attraction to mechanical gadgets.
I passed this garage today and I had to stop to snap a few. I see their beauty and uniqueness.
Art is in the eye of the beholder! 🙂

“allow them to take failure not as a measure of their worth but as a chance for a new start.”
(Wizard of Oz)
Sometimes we think because we failed miserably in our past that starting over is an impossibility.
We think that it’s hopeless for our families, friends, business associates, or neighbors to forgive our mishaps; however, the key for successfully starting over does not depend on the ability of others to forgive us, but on our ability to forgive ourselves.
Without forgiveness of our past mistakes there can be no future of tolerance of ourselves, or for others.
Remember being taught in Sunday school as a child, “Love thy neighbor as thyself?”
If we don’t love ourselves it’s an impossibility to love others. Forgiveness comes before love. Once we can forgive ourselves, we can love ourselves. Then, and only then can we share our love with others, regardless of how they respond.
Once we internalize this, we can slowly and gently start to love ourselves once again, or maybe for the first time.
We can completely make a new start.
A confirmation through my own life experiences is proof for me that we can absolutely rid ourselves of past guilt that had once been the keeper of our souls.
[Dawna Bowles ( C ) 07/14]
“I am who I am because of my past not in spite of it.”
“I give up all hope of having a better past.”
“We keep on deceiving ourselves in regard to our faults, until we at last come to look upon them as virtues.
