Beautiful Day
Today is a beautiful day for me
It’s the first time I had my
Hair done you see
My hairstylist says that
My hair looks cool
Her smile how it set me free
She used a blow dryer
And other tools
She said that I am lovely and it shows
No more tangles for me you know
My hair blows softly in the wind
I feel so beautiful for the first time
Do you think that vanity is a crime…

Sir Ken Robinson is my FAVORITE speakers in the world
These videos brought to us by way of, Rethinking Life, are a must see!
Information we all need in order to change our world. It’s positive, truthful, and educational! Not the education we were raised in, but a perspective through an artisans point of view. A freedom of thought, action and renewed hope!
[Rethinking life out side of the box]“No pun intended, Rethinking Life.”
Lol, lol!
This is an excellent talk about “How schools kill creativity.” He’s so funny and brilliant. Take a few mints to check him out. I think he is one of the most, if not THE most, watched speakers on TED. I love him. 🙂

He has other talks as well. He is on the cutting edge of education and if you think sending your kids to college will get them where they want to go you need to listen to this lecture.
Love Wins
Keep moving forward
Even if you take two steps forward and one step back. You are still moving forward. Happiness is not a destiny but a form of travel. We must give up all hope of having a better past. We are powerless over yesterday’s mishaps, and we can’t control tomorrow, for it’s not here yet. The only thing we have power over is today and ourselves.
We can’t change people, places, or things. We can only change ourselves and our perspectives.
Look for the good and it gets better, look for the bad and it gets worse.
We can’t control the wind, but we can adjust our sails. If we just do the next right thing we’ll conquer today. We all only have today. Today is a gift that’s why they call it the present.
(L.W)
Stay in today and never look back.

THE ROAD HOME
CONCEALED
LEVI FOREVER YOUNG
Levi,
May God’s bless and keep you always,
May your wishes always come true,
May you always do for others
And let others do for you.
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung,
May you stay forever young.
May you grow up to be righteous,
May you grow up to be true,
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you.
May you always be courageous,
Stand upright and be strong,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.
May your hands always be busy,
May your feet always be swift,
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift.
May your heart always be joyful,
May your song always be sung,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.
(Bob Dylan)

LOVE IS JUST A WORD…
This last year I made a decision and commitment to learn more about what love is and how it could be applicable in my life.
I was spiritually, and emotionally bankrupt, which left me feeling empty. I knew something had to change. I was desperate for change.
I’d like to share a little of what I have learned and am still learning, for it has made an enormous difference in my life.
I saw this cartoon on F/B. It was a good reminder of what I want for my life.
Love is just a word that requires action. Without the action it’s a lie.
If I love someone, regardless of any adverse situation that may occure, I must act from integrity, responsibility , morality and not my emotions/heart.
When I’m angry I’m incapable of feeling love, therefore I’m incapable of giving and receiving love.
Love isn’t always feeling good. If that were the case the divorce rate would drop considerably!
It’s about growing, giving and loving unconditionally. (& A LOT MORE)
I’m practicing love with my family, friends and myself by doing the next right thing.
This is new for me and I haven’t perfected it by any means; however, I am willing to learn, grow and live along spiritual lines.
We are spiritual beings having a human experience.
Love is just a word that needs a verb. :]💕

Mexican Blanket Purse
I have this very old tattered Mexican blanket book bag that my dog Tinker just loves.
She knows if I pick up that book bag she, not only gets to go along for a ride; she also is allowed to accompany me in the store.
She receives lot of attention, peeping her eyes and ears out of my bag, looking so sweet & sad. She is too precious for words.
I love her so much!
I rescued her from the animal shelter this last December. She was sitting, shaking, and crying all alone in the kennel.
The shelter said they found her wandering the city streets aimlessly.
She’s debarked, and has scars on her stomach. I placed her in my blanket purse, signed the adoption papers and away we went.
It’s been her favorite book bag ever since that moment of time in her life when she was rescued.
I just can’t imagine what her life was like before; moreover, I can’t imagine what life would be like without her.
She is good therapy for me. She keeps me calm, peaceful and in touch with what’s really important, love…
