I know there is a journey
Which lies ahead
It is clouded by doubt
And but for a moment
I am a prisoner in the eye of her storm
At times I see my radiance
I long to touch it only to find
My reach exceeds my grasp
I turn my head and cry
One thing I know for sure
If I continue to run
Love will never catch me…

Thanks sincerely! I was inspired 2 days ago by Sarah kay on Ted Talks. She said that she tells her students to write down 3 things they know to be true. So I tried it . And the first result of this was, “Things I know to be true.” And this poem. I am really inspired by, spoken word poetry which is what Sarah kay does.
